    you know Andy, if apple indeed has bottomed as of Thursday (and it went through 127 both ways!)….i do hope that htis is the bottom also for the general market….hard to tell, but the amazing volume we saw rush in in the last 8 hours of trading of the week is just mindblowing….

    Kurt - I’d ignore the volume this week. Someone was trying to destroy our financial system and so da gubmint stopped short selling on a bunch of stuff into options expiration. There is no telling what hoops traders went through to try and save their short positions. I think the high volume is significant but not as much as it appeared. If you look at non-financial stocks, the volume was high but not extremely so.

    Checkout smallcaps. They are looking very good. If we retest into October 10th, my guess is the smallcaps will continue to inch forward during the retest.
