Price Time Volume Investing

Yesterday, the Powershares QQQ Trust (QQQQ) tested the recent low and made a high volume run at the 1:1 Gann Angle. The second attempt is usually easier than the first try at breaking a significant angle.

I started out in the investing/trading world as a price and volume guy. Almost everything you need is in the price and volume.

The Russell 2000 (RUT) broke out above the 50% price retrace that served as resistance since early May. Unfortunately, time is running out for the total market and the 1:1 descending Gann Angle sits above.

The Nasdaq 100 (NDX) has broken above resistance and doesn’t appear to have much to stop it until near 2040.

The setups of these three market leaders support my guess of another leg down into October followed by another bull market. Keep in mind that these “guesses” are based on price-time-volume characteristics that I have seen many times.

If you look at the first chart in my public chart list you will see a good example of a bullish chart. The thrust up from March ended on April 7th. Price needed an equal amount of time to work off this move.

Clear sailing to around 13000? Looks that way.
