The SP500 Index (SPX) corrected after six days without a move below the low of the previous day. A move back toward the 20 day moving average is expected. Volume was lower today than yesterday and all days last week. CSCO warned after the bell putting pressure on the indices. Continue reading

INTC Gann Fan from 2000 High

Intel Corporation (INTC) made the news today by being up over 4% on the day at one point. Because I am growing weary of the daily index churn I will look at the INTC chart as I did with CSCO and MSFT earlier in the week. Using the range of the 2000 high and the 2002 low as the 1:1 Gann angle, we can see price respecting the 1:2 angle in 2004 and currently the 1:4 angle. Continue reading

CSCO with A-B-C Retrace at 50% Price Level

Looking at the Cisco Systems (CSCO) 2002-2007 range square, a definite time cycle pops out. The first peak in 2004 hit at the 25% of the time cycle. The 50% and 75% points of the time cycle also provided a low for at least a short time. Continue reading
